Students will start at the very basics of electricity and electrical theory, then will move into the lab to wire various circuits in a hands-on setting. We will then move into electrical troubleshooting with an emphasis on order of operations.

Students will start at the very basics of heating to get comfortable with each component, their function, and how they work together to form a functioning heating system. We will then transition into troubleshooting and maintenance best practices of a furnace. Troubleshooting will be emphasized in a hands-on lab setting.

Students will start by learning about the refrigeration cycle and the basics of an A/C system. We will then transition into troubleshooting and maintenance best practices of an A/C system. Troubleshooting will be emphasized in a hands-on lab setting.

Students will learn best practices for installation of a complete split HVAC system. Students will go through an entire change-out scenario in our lab, then commission and start up the entire HVAC system. Duct sizing best practices of how to put together square and round ducting, how to build a plenum/transition. Certifications offered:
